I recently attended the Wadsworth Mansion at Long Hill Estate in Middletown, Connecticut as a vendor for a lovely event. Guests were treated to a three course tea service in the East and West ballrooms of the Mansion, where the original owners of the estate, Clarence and Katharine Wadsworth hosted lavish parties in the early 1900's. One of the highlights of the event, in addition to the beautiful, individually decorated tables, were the extravagant hats sported by most of the guests!
The Connecticut Bride's Spring/Summer 2018 issue has recently hit newsstands, and Wild Carrot Cordage is honored to have been included in the magazine's "Bridal Registry" article. Our 6-inch round bowls can provide storage for small items in any place around your home. They are made of 100% undyed cotton rope and accented with a stripe of colored thread. Take a look in our shop if you'd like one for yourself!
Welcome to the new online home of Wild Carrot Cordage. Thank you to all of you who purchased from us this past year. We met some wonderful people in 2017 and took part in some amazing events with lots of talented makers. Looking forward to seeing what the new year will bring!
